A standard two-car garage is typically 24 feet wide by 24 feet deep — two vehicles with a little room around them. In Duluth we build that size most often, but we also build larger garages and outbuildings when you want a third bay, a workshop, or a loft.
How long does it take to build a detached garage?
Most detached garages are built in four to eight weeks once the slab is in. The range depends on size, the door and window layout, and weather — a straightforward 24×24 in Hermantown goes faster than a larger building with a finished loft.
Will the new garage match my house?
Yes — that's the point of building it rather than ordering a kit. We match the roofing and siding to your existing home so the garage reads as part of the property, not a metal box dropped beside it. We work with your current materials wherever they can still be sourced.
Can you add a shop or a loft to the garage?
